The Travel Basketball program is for any 4th – 8th grader interested in a more competitive basketball experience playing against other towns.  This should not be seen as a substitute for the Town Basketball program.

Travel Basketball

• 4th Graders are split into even teams; 5th - 8th Graders are placed on A/B/C Teams.
• Higher Level of Competition of Play during Games, Practice & Commitment
• Attendance for Practices & Games Expected
• 2 Evaluation Sessions will take place during the first week of October, to determine team selection
• 12 Game Regular Season + Playoffs
• Play against other towns in Greater Boston/Metrowest
• Games on Sundays
• Practice likely 2x per week
• Southborough Travel Uniform – Tank Top & Shorts ordered through Brine Sports once teams are selected (cost included in registration fee)
• Playing time approach varies by grade:  Lower grades equal playing time; higher grades, playing time is earned.
